This is a very popular tour, departing from the kayak launch located mid-way on Big Hickory Island. From there it is easy access to the mangrove tunnels, the Broadway Channel between Big and Little Hickory Islands, and the peaceful west island beach that can only be reached by watercraft. Approx. 2.5 hours.
- Single... $25 1 hr / $30 2 hrs / $35 3 hrs / $50 day
- Tandem... $40 1 hr / $50 2 hrs / $60 3 hrs / $85 day
- SUP... $30 1 hr / $35 2 hrs / $45 3 hrs / $70 day
All rentals come with PFD and basic instructions on proper technique. If you are new to paddling and need more hands-on assistance, no problem! Just let us know. We also provide a map of paddle options / routes and go over it with everyone.
Our kayaks are Made in USA by Perception Kayaks in Greenville, SC. These are not the low-cost retail chain units some outfitters use, but quality paddle craft that are stable and track well through the water. Compare our 9.5/11.5' singles to others around 8'. All come with premium webbed lumbar supported seat backs that can be adjusted to personal preference, making your kayaking excursion the most comfortable and enjoyable possible. The equipment DOES make a difference!
