Q: What do I need to bring for kayaking?
A: Adventures Kayaking provides water, dry storage, and photos on guided tours.
Some things you should bring are:

Q: Where is Adventures Kayaking located?
A: Our main launch location is Bonita Springs Water Tower and New Pass Bridge – Southeast corner on Estero Bay, but Adventures kayaking does not have one physical location. We are a mobile valet outfit. We bring the kayaks where ever you would like in SWFL We deliver to Fort Myers Beach, Estero, Bonita Springs, and most of Naples for FREE.
*Deliveries to Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, South Naples, Marco Island, require a minimum group size, a week of advanced notice or surcharge. We will even drive as far as Tampa or Southeast Florida for large groups! call 239-601-6976 for more information.
Q: What times are your rentals and tours?
A: We normally launch at 9am and 1pm. If it’s very cold in the morning we may launch later for warmer conditions. Sunset trips are also available in June-August to take advantage of cooler weather and delayed sunsets.
Q: Is kayaking safe?
A: Kayaking in the inner-coastal waterways of Southwest Florida is very safe. Small waves, and very shallow backwaters normally under 3 foot deep makes for a safe day kayaking.
Q: How long are the guided tours?
A: Generally our tours last three hours. In certain occasions they can be longer or shorter depending on the situation and destination.
Q: How long are your rentals?
A: Our rentals range from 3 hours all the way up to 30 days. Call 239-601-6976 for rates on long-term rentals.
Q: Where is the best place to kayak in Southwest Florida?
A: Estero Bay. This bay is the most life dense and life abundant estuary in Florida, making it the best place to see dolphins, critters, birds, and manatee when the waters warm.
Q: Where is the best place to see manatee?
A: When the water is above 70° the Manatee love the seagrass beds of Estero Bay. When the water is 70° and below, they are at the Manatee Park in Fort Myers FL.
Q: What about inclement weather?
A: Rarely in the beautiful climate of Southwest Florida do we cancel tours due to weather. If we must cancel the tour we will call and either go to another location, or reschedule for another day.
